Using a layout designed by Marko Cvijetic, I broke down the visual components and grid structure as part of an exercise. From there, I decided to outline an interview with Caroline Polachek by Quinn Moreland (for Pitchfork) detailing inspiration for her excellent 2019 debut album "Pang". One of the most interesting sources that Polachek cited was a 17th century engraving artist named Jacques Hurtu, so I decided to use one of these engravings as the background image.
